Selection of Faba Bean (Vicia faba L.) Genotypes for High Yield, Essential Amino Acids and Low Anti-Nutritional Factors

One of the important edible legumes, faba bean (Vicia L.) contains high protein levels and amino acids in its seeds essential for human nutrition animal feeding; it also consists anti-nutritional factors such as vicine, convicine, tannin. For a balanced healthy diet, cultivars should be improved seed yield, acids, low factors. The aims this study were to select genotypes (i) (ii) factors, (iii) acids. A total 12 genotypes, including 10 with tannin content 2 local checks, assessed phenological, morphological, agronomical traits, well some biochemical characteristics population, Atlidere, breeding line content, FLIP08-016FB, had highest yield.
